Core Values
Growing deep roots in Christ is a process. At Mzizi we encourage our members to focus on 4 areas that we believe lead to spiritual maturity. These four areas constitute our core values they are the heart of who we are as a church: Knowing Christ, Growing in Christ, sharing Christ and impacting the world for Christ.

Knowing Christ

Establishing a personal relationship with God.

One must have a personal relationship with him in order to grow deep roots. Once you ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins, and live inside of you, then the process begins. It's all about a personal encounter, or relationship, not religion

Growing in Christ

Developing a growing relationship with God.

We believe that the deeper you root your life in Christ, the stronger you'll become. It’s important to understand and know Him, how He works and operates what His plans are, His views, His thoughts, His very heartbeat. The intention is to present each man mature in Christ, and to enable them to show such maturity by their 'fruit' for the Kingdom.

Sharing Christ

Developing Disciples who make other Disciples.

The ultimate purpose is to encourage individuals to establish a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and then help them grow as true followers (disciples) of Jesus Christ.  They in turn can introduce another person to Jesus Christ and help them grow to maturity in their faith.

Impacting the World for Christ

Bearing the fruit of Righteousness

As you choose to root your life in Christ, you'll not only become stronger, but also more fruitful. We believe that we are to be the light and salt of the earth. We want to demonstrate our transformed lives to the world so that we can attract the world to Christ through acts of righteousness.
